There are five books I reread every year, usually in winter. They are not the best books I have read, but they are the ones that changed me most.
Each time I come back, I underline different sentences. The book has not changed. The person reading it has.

Rereading feels unfashionable when there are so many new books to read. But a familiar book is a kind of mirror, and a year is a long time to go without looking.
